Website Design

Creating your own website might at first seem intimidating. You might have decided to put off creating a website because you simply didn’t know where to begin. You might have been put off by the expected costs of designing and maintaining your own site. However, web design is not so complicated or as expensive as you may think. It’s certainly nothing to be worried about!

If this is your first website, there are two key things you need to consider:

  • what your domain name is going to be (ie www.yourcompany.com)
  • what you are going to put on it.

I can help you with both!

From choosing your domain name and which provider you will get the name from, to writing the content and selecting images, I will help you every step of the way.

If you already have a website but it needs a revamp, then I will simply need your FTP username and password to be able to access your web hosting package so that I can upload a new site.

See below for a selection of websites I have designed for my clients.

Websites should be either:

  • Responsive (R): The fluid design of the site will adapt to the size of the browser window, whether you are viewing on a desktop computer, a tablet or a smart phone. Or,
  • Adaptive (A): The desktop, tablet and mobile views are designed separately and the website shows the correct version, dependent on the platform you are using.
